Al-Ma'arifa International Private School was established in 1986 in the
centre of city of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates. The school is
accredited by The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, NEASC,
in the United States of America. The curriculum offered from
Kindergarten to Grade 12 is designed around three educational systems:
British, American and the U.A.E. Ministry of Education General Secondary
Education Certificate. Being an international school, Arabic and English
are equally emphasized.When built, the design allowed for future
expansion something that is now a reality. Some extensions to the
buildings were completed in September 2005.More extensions were
completed in March 2008 .Facilities are ample. These include a
two-storey gymnasium and a standard dimension swimming pool. The
playgrounds facilitate areas for all sorts of sport, e.g. football,
tennis, basketball and volleyball. All laboratories are supervised by
qualified laboratory technicians.To support the increased emphasis in
the field of e-learning, students have access to well-equipped
Information CommunicationTechnology Media rooms. The school is committed
